Qualifications

• Nebraska licensure as Mental Health Practitioner or Alcohol and Drug Counselor (BHPS I/II).
• Proof of licensure and transcripts required upon acceptance of offer.
• Must pass a security background check.
• Pre-employment medical exam and drug test required.
• Completion of the Staff Training Academy program (fully paid).

Responsibilities

• Provides individual and group psychotherapy and substance use treatment to incarcerated individuals.
• Maintains timely and accurate clinical records and logs.
• Lead/interdisciplinary team meetings to develop and update treatment plans.
• Train staff on core substance use counseling principles and practices.
• Provide weekly clinical supervision for PLADCs and monthly supervision for LADCs.
• Oversee planning, organization, and coordination of substance use treatment operations.
• Identify staffing, materials, and equipment needs to maintain program efficiency.
• Communicate treatment approaches and gather feedback for improvement.
• Apply evidence-based interventions tailored to the population.
