Job summary

PrimeCare Medical is seeking a Behavioral Health Supervisor to lead the clinical monitoring and coordination of the behavioral health program at the Charles County Detention Center in La Plata, MD. This on-site, full-time role supports inmates with trauma-informed care and adheres to NCCHC/ACA/MCCS standards.

Qualifications include a Maryland LCPC or LCSW license, a Master’s degree in Social Work or Psychology, and at least two years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold LCPC or LCSW licensure in Maryland.
• Master’s degree or greater in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Clinical monitoring and coordination of the behavioral health program.
• Engage inmates/patients in therapeutic interventions.
• Facilitate suicide prevention and assess treatment responses.
• Coordinate admissions to forensic/community facilities and initiate paperwork.
• Liaise between medical unit and facility staff.
• Lead interdisciplinary team meetings and case consultations.
• Audit charts and ensure timely documentation.
• Provide supervision to Behavioral Health Professionals and staff.
