Job summary

Pitkin County in Aspen is seeking a leader to guide Behavioral Health governance and coordinated funding under the BHSP. You will convene advisory groups, collaborate with the County Manager’s Office, Human Services, Public Health, providers and funders to advance outcomes.

You will manage governance structures, monitor performance, align investments, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and funding requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Supervisor or Lead.
• 5+ years in Public Health, Human Services, Behavioral Health or related fields with facilitation, project management and strategic planning.
• Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Human Services, or Behavioral Health preferred or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance structures and advisory committees for the Behavioral Health Strategic Plan.
• Coordinate cross-departmental and community collaboration to advance coordinated system planning.
• Oversee BHSP implementation, engagement, progress monitoring, performance measurement, and public reporting.
• Manage Behavioral Health funding efforts, contracts, grants, and compliance with requirements.
• Develop and update BH policies, procedures, and QA practices to align with BHSP and regulations.
• Write and manage MOUs, HIPAA advisories, BAAs, IGAs, RFPs.
• Analyze data and conduct needs assessments to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Represent Pitkin County in regional planning bodies and present updates as needed.
• Provide administrative leadership and support for Behavioral Health initiatives and workforce development.
