Job summary

Telecare Corporation is seeking a Start‑Up Project Administrator in California to coordinate development of new behavioral health programs, build program teams, and conduct orientations for new programs. You will collaborate with Start‑Up staff, operations, and regulatory agencies, and may lead temporary assignments as needed.

The role involves driving program planning, staff recruitment, and ensuring licensing submissions.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of psychiatric inpatient programs and the state mental health system.
• Working knowledge of state funding and Medi‑Care systems.
• Strong decision making and leadership.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates Telecare values in daily interactions with stakeholders.
• Locates and reviews potential program sites and coordinates site reviews.
• Creates policies/procedures for various program types.
• Leads new development projects: staffing, planning, design, implementation.
• Coordinates credentialing/submissions with licensing agencies; drives community relations.
• Assists in site planning/renovations and interprets program needs for site selection.
• Plans orientations, conducts training components, and trains new Administrators.
• Serves as temporary new program Administrator as needed.
• Communicates with Development and Start‑Up teams to maintain progress.
