Job summary

Anne Arundel County Department of Health is seeking a full-time member for the Behavioral Health Bureau. You will support the Hub and Spoke program aimed at enhancing access to treatment for opioid use disorder patients, working closely with a dedicated team.

Your role involves extensive collaboration with medical staff to create effective protocols and provide necessary assessments and referrals. Candidates should have an Associate degree and two years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in counseling, human services, or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of experience in substance use treatment.
• Ability to conduct screenings and assessments for substance use disorder.

• Collaborate with physicians and staff to discuss cases and provide care coordination.
