Job summary

Anne Arundel County Department of Health is seeking a qualified candidate for a Full-Time County Contractual positions, providing counseling services to individuals under the Road to Recovery Opioid Treatment Program. Located in Annapolis, this role requires an Associate degree in addictions counseling and experience in substance use disorder treatments.

The position offers a salary range of $50,000 - $60,000 per year, with benefits including participation in the County’s group health plan and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Working with individuals on Medication in the Treatment of Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD).
• Knowledge of the ASAM levels of care and DSM-5 criteria for Opioid Use Disorder.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct counseling services under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor.
• Deliver services at the community clinic and the detention center.

Skills

Counseling individuals receiving treatment

Understanding of pharmacotherapeutic medications

Conducting screenings and assessments
