Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field required.
• 2+ years full-time experience with the population served.
• Bachelor's in non-Human Services field with 4+ years experience.
• Master’s degree with 1+ year experience.
• License/Provisional License/Registration/Permit as required by governing board.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals with mental health and/or substance use issues in home, school, workplace and community settings.
• Promote recovery, symptom reduction and increased coping skills.
• Facilitate relationships and act as a link between individuals, family, guardians, agencies, and the community.
• Minimize the impact of psychiatric symptoms or substance dependence on daily living.
• Assist in developing daily living, social, and behavioral skills; provide counseling.
• Perform case management and referral activities; coordinate services with clinicians.
