Job summary

Banner Del Webb Medical Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist to provide direct care to psychiatric patients under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include safety checks, assisting with ADLs, milieu management, and 1-on-1 observations.

A Bachelor's in a behavioral health field or equivalent experience is required, with BLS certification. Day shift roles are available on both part-time and full-time schedules, with weekend/holiday requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field or a high school diploma with 1 year of direct patient care in an inpatient behavioral health setting.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in inpatient psychiatric facilities or related settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to psychiatric patients under RN supervision.
• Perform safety checks and monitor patient status.
• Assist with activities of daily living and milieu management.
• Record observations and participate in treatment planning.
• May float to ED or medical units as needed.
