Job summary

Acadia Healthcare seeks a social work professional to plan and coordinate therapeutic support for patients with behavioral health needs. You will assess patients, develop treatment plans, provide crisis intervention and work with families to support recovery.

The role requires a Master’s in Social Work and 3+ years of related experience. Licensure and CPR/de-escalation training may be required, with supervision of interns and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work required.
• Three+ years related experience with behavioral health patients.
• Licensure per state requirements (LMSW/LCSW or equivalent) and CPR/de-escalation training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, define and coordinate therapeutic services for patients with behavioral health needs.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to families to understand implications of life situations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings for assessment, planning and discharge planning.
• Identify, assess and coordinate patient needs related to illness, hospitalization, finances, education and community services.
• Facilitate education groups, process groups and referrals as requested.
• Manage caseloads and ensure accurate documentation to meet facility and accreditation standards.
• Supervise social work interns and provide guidance to staff.

Education

Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university

Three or more years' related experience working with comparative patient population
