The position involves delivering professional development to educators, providing classroom consultations, and leading family education seminars. A background in education or psychology with mindfulness-based approaches is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or related field.
• 1–3 years providing behavioral health support to students in a school setting.
• 1–3 years providing behavioral health support to students within a behavioral health program setting.
• 0–1 years providing professional development to educators or related professional group.
• 0–1 years knowledge of Mindful Awareness, DBT and CBT.
• Preferred Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate student skill building education.
• Facilitate student support groups and clubs.
• Provide school district staff skill building education.
• Deliver school district staff professional development.
• Facilitate school district employee support groups.
• Provide classroom consultations for school district staff.
• Host family education seminars.
• Facilitate school assemblies.
• Support family communication as needed.
