Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of medical scheduling or front desk experience.
• Experience with centralized scheduling or Just-In-Time (JIT) scheduling preferred.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
• HIPAA compliance and confidentiality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Schedule outpatient appointments for therapists, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and other clinical staff.
• Coordinate Just-In-Time scheduling for physician appointments within 3–5 calendar days from call.
• Process and schedule referrals from internal and external providers accurately.
• Manage provider calendar changes, cancellations, and reschedules with minimal disruption to care.
• Confirm patient demographics, insurance information, and appointment needs at scheduling.
• Communicate appointment instructions to patients and answer basic questions.
