Mercy St. Louis Hospital is seeking an RN in Behavioral Health on a full-time, day-shift basis. The role uses the nursing process to provide patient care and coordinates with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

Beneficially aligns with Mercy mission and standards. Qualifications include an RN license in the hiring state (or compact licensure), graduation from an accredited nursing program, and BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (ASN, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification or complete within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
