Job summary

Mercy St Louis Hospital’s Behavioral Health unit is seeking a Full-Time Night nurse to provide patient-centered care, utilizing the nursing process and coordinating care with other departments. Responsibilities include evaluating care effectiveness, maintaining patient rights, and upholding Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program (ASN/ Diploma/ BSN), and an active RN license in the hiring state or a compact license, with BLS certification

Qualifications

• Education credentials required: Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN.
• RN licensure in state or compact licensure; maintain current license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or by hire date.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provided patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care by other direct care givers.
