Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to behavioral health patients using the nursing process.
• Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families with compassionate, clear communication.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients in crisis.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records in the EHR.
• Follow regulatory, hospital, and professional nursing standards.
• Promote patient dignity, privacy, and recovery-focused treatment.
