Job summary

Copper Springs Avondale is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) in Behavioral Health to assess and plan patient care, supervise shifts, and ensure high-quality nursing delivery. You will monitor patient condition, administer medications, and uphold empathy and professional standards within hospital policies.

Arizona-licensed RNs with an associate degree and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS preferred. Join a team dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care in Avondale.

Qualifications

Current state RN license is required.
Associate degree from an accredited nursing program.
BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
Arizona license or Compact endorsement.

Responsibilities

Assess patients and plan care within set timeframes and document findings.
Oversee shift, delegate tasks, ensure policy-compliant care.
Monitor patient condition and respond, including physician notification.
Administer medications following hospital policy.
Demonstrate empathy, dignity, and respect toward patients.
Deliver quality nursing care per treatment plans and policies.
