Job summary

CalvertHealth is seeking a registered nurse to provide nursing care on the behavioral health unit, following department policies and procedures. The role emphasizes behavioral health nursing and compliance with hospital competencies and training requirements.

Requirements include completion of a nursing diploma or AA in nursing and an unexpired Maryland or compact state license. One year hospital experience is preferred, with Psych experience desired.

Qualifications

• Completion of Diploma Nursing Program or AA in Nursing.
• Unexpired Maryland RN license or compact state license.
• Psych experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement nursing care per department policies and procedures.
• Render behavioral nursing care on the behavioral health unit.
• Maintain unit-specific hospital competencies and mandatory trainings.
• Demonstrate professional communication with patients, families, and staff.
