Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, and participation in life-saving initiatives when needed, while upholding infection control and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care settings.
• RN licensure in the state or a compact state is required.
• Ability to follow nursing processes and document care accurately.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per nursing process and policies.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans with the care team.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in CPR and code team activities.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control practices and safe, clean environments.
• Document care thoroughly in the medical record and support quality initiatives.
