St. Vincent’s Behavioral Health Center in Westport is a 76-bed inpatient psychiatric facility serving children, adolescents and adults with mental health and dual diagnosis needs.

As a Per Diem Float RN you will provide direct patient care in accordance with the facility's policies. You will perform bio-psychosocial assessments, develop and implement nursing care plans, participate in treatment team conferences, and lead group therapy sessions as needed, ensuring individualized care and

Formación

• CT DPH nursing license required prior to hire.
• BLS Provider certification within 60 days of hire.
• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in acute care psychiatric setting preferred.
• Evidence of leadership ability and MOAB training.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct patient care to behavioral health patients per hospital policy.
• Performs initial and ongoing bio-psychosocial assessments.
• Develops and documents a comprehensive nursing plan of care.
• Participates in treatment team conferences and plans goals with the team.
• Leads group therapy sessions and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team.
• Evaluates patient status and revises care plans as needed.
• Delivers care to meet physical, psychosocial, cultural and age-related needs.
