Job summary

St. Vincent's Medical Center is seeking a Per Diem Float RN for its Behavioral Health Center in Westport, CT. The role provides direct patient care to behavioral health patients, following facility policies and physician orders.

The RN will perform assessments, develop care plans, and participate in treatment teams while maintaining collaboration with the interdisciplinary staff. A CT RN license and BLS certification are required, with MOAB training recommended.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health.
• BLS provider credentialed from AHA or Red Cross within 60 days of hire date.
• Associate's Degree required; Bachelor Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial and ongoing bio-psychosocial assessments per nursing standards.
• Develops and documents a nursing plan of care aligned with the treatment plan.
• Participates in treatment team conferences to plan and adjust goals and interventions.
