Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a part-time Registered Nurse for Behavioral Health Therapy at Park Ridge, IL. The role involves delivering safe, therapeutic nursing care for adults with mood and psychotic disorders, coordinating with a care team, and ensuring high-quality patient experiences.

Ideal candidates have an IL RN license, BLS, and 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience. CPI de-escalation certification is a plus, with schedule Monday–Friday and occasional evenings.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by Illinois.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• CPI de-escalation certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Administer medications, document care, and participate in interdisciplinary planning.
• Communicate with patients 1-to-1 and advocate for patient needs to ensure safety.
• Contribute to a therapeutic environment across the continuum of care.
