The role involves 12-hour rotating shifts, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and ongoing professional development to ensure safe, effective psychiatric nursing care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of employment or compact license accepted.
• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing.
• One year inpatient hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and develops individualized care plans.
• Administers medications as prescribed and educates patients on medications.
• Maintains accurate and thorough medical records per policy and regulation.
• Performs nursing interventions with professionalism and accountability.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
• Flexes across clinical services and supports staff as needed.
