Job summary

Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, Arkansas, seeks a Behavioral Health RN for the 3x12s night shift (7:00 pm–7:00 am). You will assess patients, administer treatments, document care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and comfort in a 29-bed unit.

Qualifications include an Associate's degree (BSN preferred), BLS within 30 days, and RN license in TN or a compact state with Tennessee paperwork. Prior behavioral health experience is required.

• Associate's degree required.
• BSN preferred.
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision; able to work under stress.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process per scope and standards.
• Executes plan of care including meds, specimens, treatments and other care.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient and family.
• Assists patients with ADLs: hygiene, elimination, nutrition and ambulation.
• Coordinates care across disciplines for transfers, discharges and referrals.
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patient/family.
• Advocates for patients' physical and emotional well-being.
