Job summary

River Vista Behavioral Health, part of Universal Health Services, Inc., seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Nursing Team at a new 128-bed behavioral health facility in California's Central Valley. Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the California State Board of Nursing.
• Additional Requirements: CPR certification and CPI training.

Responsibilities

• Document patient information and nursing care as part of nursing services.
• Accurately administer medication to patients.
• Transcribe and carry out physician and practitioner treatment orders.
• Participate in development and execution of interdisciplinary treatment plans.
• Provide structure and maintain a therapeutic environment in collaboration with the health care team.
