Job summary

Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center is seeking an experienced RN Manager to lead and shape the daily operations of an inpatient unit focused on psychiatric and substance use care. You will oversee nursing practices across hospital units, promote collaboration, and drive outcomes that support patient recovery in a modern, coastal setting.

The role requires a Virginia RN license, extensive supervisory experience, and certified CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia RN license or eligibility to renew/obtain
• Three years supervisory experience required; inpatient setting preferred
• Three years’ experience in mental health
• Current CPI certification
• Current CPR or BLS certification
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Lead and shape daily operations of an inpatient unit to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Supervise nursing staff, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and drive compliance with nursing practices.
• Implement and evaluate nursing protocols and ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
