Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Current RN license required by state regulations.
• CPR and De-escalation certification required or obtainable within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient and plan care within set timeframes and document findings according to policies.
• Oversee and supervise the shift.
• Demonstrates leadership through duties that may include delegating tasks such as groups, close observation, meal supervision, etc.
• Oversee staff to ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed and exemplary patient care is delivered by self and team.
• Monitor patient for change of condition and respond accordingly up to notifying the physician.
• RN will follow hospital policy for medication administration.
• RN will interact with patients with empathy, dignity, and respect.
• Deliver quality nursing care to ensure treatment goals are executed per hospital policies and nursing competencies.
• Assist/perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients
