Job summary

The RN will assess patients, plan care, supervise the shift, and lead teams while ensuring adherence to nursing policies and delivering compassionate, high-quality care in alignment with treatment plans and hospital standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Current RN license as required by state regulations.
• CPR and De-escalation certification required or obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient and plan care within set timeframes and document findings.
• Oversee and supervise the shift.
• Demonstrates leadership through duties such as groups, close observation, meal supervision, etc.
• Oversee staff to ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed and exemplary patient care is delivered.
• Monitor patient for change of condition and respond, including physician notification.
• Follow hospital policy for medication administration.
• Deliver quality nursing care aligned with treatment plans and nursing competencies.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients.
