Job summary

Lifepoint Health in Holyoke, MA seeks a Registered Nurse in Behavioral Health to support the department with clinical, operational, and administrative excellence. The RN will assess patients, plan and document care, supervise the shift, and lead duties such as groups and meal supervision.

You will ensure nursing policies are followed and deliver empathetic, quality care, while monitoring patients for changes and communicating with the physician as needed.

Qualifications

• RN must possess clinical judgment for patient assessments and care planning within policies.
• Experience in psychiatric health care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient and plan care within set timeframes and document findings according to policies.
• Oversee and supervise the shift.
• Demonstrate leadership including delegating tasks and supervising groups.
• Oversee staff to ensure nursing policies are followed and deliver exemplary patient care.
• Monitor patient for changes and communicate with physician as needed.
• Follow hospital policy for medication administration.
• Provide empathetic, dignified patient interactions.
• Deliver quality nursing care per treatment plans and competencies.
• Assist with comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients.
