Job summary

The role includes medication administration, documentation, and ensuring patient safety and dignity throughout shifts. The position requires Indiana RN license, BLS/CPR, ALS/ACLS, crisis prevention certification, and 1 year of experience preferred; BSN is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license.
• BLS or CPR for Healthcare Providers; ALS or ACLS certifications required.
• Crisis prevention certification required.
• One year nursing experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Restores and promotes patient health by completing the nursing process from admission assessment through discharge.
• Plans, implements, and coordinates nursing care activities for Behavioral Health patients.
• Performs treatments and medications per physician orders while ensuring patient safety.
• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team; assists with discharge planning and documentation.
• Utilizes tele-psych tools and maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Maintains unit readiness and adheres to safety and infection-control policies.
