Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Behavioral Health to provide patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

The role requires an Associate degree in Nursing, a valid Multi-State RN license, BLS CPR within 7 days of hire, CPI certification, and offers opportunities for professional growth through multidisciplinary collaboration and competitive benefits including a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

Must have an Associate degree in Nursing.
Valid Multi-State RN License; if from a non-compact state, must obtain within 30 days.
BLS CPR certification required within 7 days of hire.
CPI certification within orientation.
Preferred: psychiatric/mental health nursing experience; RN-C certification.

Responsibilities

Conducts and documents initial and ongoing patient assessments, incorporating physician and psychosocial input.
Performs patient interventions proficiently, demonstrating age-specific competencies.
Verifies medication orders, schedules tests/procedures, manages pre-op data, and ensures proper documentation.
Follows medication and IV therapy policies, administers meds safely, monitors for adverse reactions, and reports interactions.
Performs related duties to maintain quality patient care through education, collaboration, and adherence to standards.
