Job summary

CenterPointe Hospital seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for a temporary 13-week assignment in Missouri. The role offers full-time evening or night shifts at a fixed rate of $65 per hour and is not benefits-eligible.

Travel stipends are not provided, and current CenterPointe employees are not eligible for this assignment. Potential conversion to a regular full-time position may include a sign-on bonus up to $12,000.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by the state of employment.
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral experience a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and their families about conditions.
• Provide nursing care within the standards defined by nursing practice acts and facility policies.
• Ensure physicians’ orders are transcribed correctly and followed.
• Monitor patient status and document changes.
• Notify physicians of significant changes in patient condition.
• Complete admission and discharge processing timely.
• Demonstrate therapeutic rapport while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Coordinate unit activities and communicate with patients, visitors and staff.
