Job summary

CenterPointe Hospital in Missouri is hiring Registered Nurses to join our behavioral health team. We offer great pay, flexible shifts (Day/Evening/Night) and opportunities for advancement, with a sign-on bonus up to $12,000 for eligible full-time positions.

Pay ranges from $40 to $55 per hour, including shift differential, with comprehensive benefits. As an RN, you will assess patient needs, develop care plans, document care and educate patients and families about conditions.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license as required by Missouri or eligible to practice.
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral experience a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and their families about various physical and behavioral health conditions.
• Provide nursing care and services within the standards and scope of nursing practice as defined within state regulations and facility policies.
• Notify physicians of significant changes in patient status and document accordingly.
• Complete admission and discharge processing efficiently and accurately.
