Job summary

Mercy St Louis Hospital in Missouri is seeking a full-time Night Shift Registered Nurse for Behavioral Health. You will apply the nursing process to provide patient care, ensure patient rights, and coordinate care with other departments.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact license.
• Basic Life Support certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
