Mercy Hospital Ada in Oklahoma seeks a Registered Nurse in Behavioral Health for a Full Time Day Shift. You will apply the nursing process to plan and deliver patient care, coordinate with the care team, and uphold Mercy Service Standards.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program and active RN license.
• Completion of hospital-required in-services and relevant certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS) within time frame.
• Ability to document and maintain patient records per Mercy standards.

Mansioni

• Involves patient and/or significant others in decisions regarding care.
• Assesses and documents educational needs and learning abilities during admission and care planning.
• Documents and ensures plan of care includes problems, nursing diagnoses, interventions and goals with target dates.
• Performs patient hand offs using SBAR/Bedside reporting between shifts and departments.
• Maintains effective chain-of-command communication and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Communicates subjective and objective patient data with team members.
• Stays updated on unit huddles and unit communications; participates in rounds with physicians.
• Participates in Process Improvement activities and required trainings.
• Completes competencies and certifications within required timeframes (BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.).
• Participates in professional growth programs and follows Mercy policies.
