Job summary

College Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, compassionate care to adult and elderly behavioral health patients. You will perform patient assessments, implement care plans, administer medications, and advocate for patient well-being in a collaborative team.

New grads welcome; Level One Fingerprint Card required; CPI certification within 30 days; AHA BLS required on hire.

A Level One Fingerprint Card required.
Current RN license and AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers required upon hire.
CPI Certification required within 30 days of hire.
Knowledge of growth and development principles, with ability to assess and deliver age-appropriate care.
Understanding of legal aspects of nursing and importance of accurate, timely documentation according to standards, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document findings.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and behavioral management per facility protocols.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and continuing care.
Monitor and record patients' physical and emotional status, reporting changes.
Ensure safe and therapeutic environment.
Participate in daily shift reports and interdisciplinary team meetings.
Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines at all times.
