Job summary

Qualifications

• A Level One Fingerprint Card is required.
• Current RN license and BLS for Healthcare Providers required upon hire.
• CPI Certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of growth and development principles and age-appropriate care.
• Understanding of legal aspects of nursing and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document findings.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans with the team.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and behavioral management per protocols.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and continuing care.
• Monitor and record patients’ physical and emotional status; report significant changes.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Participate in daily shift reports and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines at all times.
