Job summary

College Medical Center Phoenix is the newest addition to College Health Enterprises, committed to warm, patient-centered care. As a PRN Registered Nurse, you will assess adults and elderly behavioral health patients, craft individualized care plans, and advocate for well-being in a collaborative team setting.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and participate in rounds and care planning.

Qualifications

Current RN license and BLS certification required upon hire.
CPI certification required within 30 days of hire.
Knowledge of growth and development principles for age-appropriate care.
Ability to assess, interpret data, determine patient care needs, and deliver appropriate care.
Understanding of legal aspects of nursing and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document findings.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans with the team.
Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and behavioral management per protocols.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and continuing care.
Monitor and record patients’ physical and emotional status and report significant changes.
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
Participate in daily shift reports and interdisciplinary team meetings.
Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines at all times.
