Job summary

TaraVista Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Devens, Massachusetts. You will assess and care for patients, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to treatment plans with evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu, applying the nursing process, and supporting families and guardians throughout care. CPC-certified nurses with trauma-informed expertise are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts, BSN preferred
• Advanced knowledge of behavioral health and substance use disorders treatment modalities
• Understanding of the Trauma-Informed Recovery model of care
• Valid CPR certification
• Previous experience is preferred in psychiatric or substance use disorders inpatient, restraint reduction, de-escalation, and crisis intervention
• Crisis management and time management skills; exhibit flexibility, creativity, be able to multi-task, and calm, organized professional demeanor

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical and psychological condition throughout the continuum of care
• Provide direct and indirect care to patients, families, and guardians as part of the multidisciplinary team
• Contribute to each patient’s treatment plan by developing, implementing, and documenting goals and interventions
• Maintain a safe therapeutic milieu grounded in TaraVista’s core values
