Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver individualized, patient-centered nursing care per professional standards and hospital policies.
• Assess patient physical and behavioral health conditions, monitor vital signs, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, visitors, and staff members.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, therapists, family members, and other members of the healthcare team regarding patient progress and care plans.
• Document all patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record system.
• Participate in team huddles, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing professional development activities.
