JPS Health Network in Fort Worth, TX seeks an RN Clinical Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team in behavioral health, coordinating nursing care and clinical practice across the department. This role emphasizes staff mentoring, policy implementation, and quality improvement to ensure safe, effective patient care.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing, 5+ years as an RN, 2+ years supervising staff, Texas RN licensure or reciprocity, and active BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• 5+ years of experience as a practicing Registered Nurse.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Current licensure by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas or reciprocity.
• Current JPS recognized Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and must be maintained throughout employment.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) training if applicable.
• Certification in Non-Aggressive Crisis Management; must be obtained while in orientation and maintained throughout employment if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Directs, supervises and evaluates work activities of nursing, technical, clerical, and other employees; prepares and administers departmental performance evaluations.
• Develops and implements organizational policies and procedures for the facility or department.
• Provides regular meetings and other forms of communication with reporting personnel and other affected staff members including daily huddles and/or internal customer rounding to assure awareness of operational and organization-wide issues.
• Ensures the delivery of nursing care to assigned group of patients including education, treatment planning, pain management and discharge planning utilizing the nursing process.
• Ensures the delivery of quality nursing care while minimizing infection risk and maintaining a safe environment in compliance with regulations.
• Coordinates the team providing patient care and education to patients and the public about various health conditions, offering guidance and emotional support to patients and families.
