Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of nursing experience or active Nurse Residency program participation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per evidence-based policies to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, families, and health-care team.
• Administer medications using bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Document patient assessments and plans in the electronic system.
• Provide patient- and family-centered education for health maintenance.
• Assist with multi-disciplinary discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
