Job summary

Summit Healthcare Mgmt is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 7am-7pm shift at our Leland, NC facility. You will supervise LPNs and CNAs, develop and evaluate patient care plans, and ensure safe medication administration with proper documentation.

The role emphasizes behavioral health care, coordination with a multidisciplinary team, and ongoing patient assessment and education for patients and families. On-site work only.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• One or more years' nursing experience within clinical area of the service provided by facility preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery environment preferred.
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and medication administration procedures.
• Ability to apply nursing standards and practice within an acute psychiatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess and care for patients on assigned unit and shift.
• Develop, implement and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Administer medications with appropriate patient identifiers.
• Document care, vitals, and patient status accurately.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the inter-disciplinary team.
