Summit Healthcare Mgmt is seeking a Registered Nurse for an onsite 7am-7pm role in Leland, NC. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients in a behavioral health setting, supervising LPNs/CNAs and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements include a nursing degree, current RN license, CPR, and psychotropic med knowledge. Experience in psychiatric care and de-escalation training are preferred. This is an onsite position with competitive benefits.

Competenze

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• One or more years’ nursing experience in clinical settings, preferred in behavioral health or psychiatric care.
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and medication administration procedures.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training provided on hire).
• Ability to apply nursing standards within an acute psychiatric setting.

Mansioni

• Provides and coordinates care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs and develops nursing care plans.
• Maintains medical records and educates patients and families about conditions and treatments.
• Transcribes and reviews provider orders; ensures all required elements are present.
• Administers medications using at least two patient identifiers.
• Communicates changes in patient status promptly to providers and treatment team.
• Documents hand-offs and ensures shift reports to oncoming staff.
