Acadia Healthcare's Haverhill Pavilion Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking full-time registered nurses for day and night 12-hour shifts in Haverhill, MA. New grads are encouraged to apply; pay ranges from $39.25 to $55.00 per hour, including weekend differential.

Both FT and PT shifts are available, with weekend-only options. We are a leading behavioral health facility providing comprehensive mental health services with flexible scheduling, strong training programs, and a benefits package

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• One or more years’ nursing experience in the clinical area is preferred.
• RN license as required by state; CPR and de-escalation/ restraint certification required; First aid may be required per state/facility requirements.
• New grads encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs and developing nursing care plans.
• Document medical records and educate patients and families about health conditions.
• Transcribe physician orders and ensure legibility and accuracy of documentation.
• Assess patient status on an ongoing basis and document changes.
• Collaborate with the team to meet patients' physical, biopsychosocial, age, and cultural needs; address complaints.
• Notify physician of significant changes in status or adverse events.
• Ensure treatment plans are patient-specific and updated on admission.
• Administer medications per orders and document controlled substances as required.
• Complete admission and discharge processes accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain therapeutic rapport and professional boundaries with patients.
• Provide direction and coordinate unit activities as directed.
