Job summary

Riveon Mental Health and Recovery is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Crisis Recovery Center in Lorain, OH. You will work 12-hour day shifts providing compassionate behavioral health services and 23-Hour Observation or Withdrawal Management support.

Join a team focused on Trauma Informed Care, medication monitoring, and collaborative care coordination with physicians, case managers and staff. A strong nursing background in psychiatry is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in Ohio is required.
• Experience in behavioral healthcare is preferred.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitors clients newly prescribed medication or those undergoing changes.
• Provides education on medications, their benefits, risks and side effects.
• Conducts physical and mental health assessments and records findings.
• Obtains vital signs, tests and other parameters relevant to health monitoring.
• Administers urine drug screening and breathalyzer testing.
• Facilitates groups and education on physical/mental health.
