Riveon Mental Health and Recovery in Lorain, OH is hiring a Registered Nurse to join the Crisis Recovery Center on 12-hour shifts. The role supports 23-Hour Observation and 3.7 Withdrawal Management Services, delivering compassionate behavioral health care to individuals in crisis.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, follow Trauma Informed Care, monitor medications, perform health assessments, educate clients, and document care.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio state license as an RN.
• Experience working in behavioral healthcare preferred.
• Computer skills including familiarity with Windows and Word applications required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Works with physicians or nurse practitioners regarding care and treatment of clients receiving psychotropic medication.
• Monitors clients newly prescribed medication or changes through scheduled appointments.
• Provides education on medications, including purposes, benefits, risks, and side effects.
• Conducts physical/mental health assessments and obtains vital signs and relevant measurements.
• Administers urine drug screening and breathalyzer testing.
• Facilitates groups and education on physical/mental health and wellness.
