Job summary

Riveon in Lorain, OH, seeks a Manager of Nursing to lead the Crisis Recovery Center and related programs; the role uses Trauma-Informed Care to promote healing in a safe, stigma-free environment with compassion for all people.

You will provide leadership and operational guidance, supervise staff, coordinate schedules, and ensure policy compliance, documentation, and quality improvement as part of the clinical leadership team.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the State of Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• A BSN degree or higher is preferred.
• Experience working with severely mentally disabled persons preferred.
• Prior supervisory and leadership experience is preferred.
• Computer skills including familiarity with Windows and Word applications required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
• Travel in this job requires a valid Ohio driver’s license and use of a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates as an integrated team by sharing information, best practices and results openly.
• Builds and retains a talented workforce by developing, engaging and empowering personnel to fulfill their potential.
• Oversees CRC staff schedules and addresses coverage issues (call offs, schedule changes, vacations, etc.).
• Assists in policy development for the CRC program and coordinates operations with other Agency programs.
• Demonstrates progressive leadership and effective management.
• Participates in quality improvement plans.
• Participates in clinical leadership team meetings and coordinates with coordinators and prescribers.
• Maintains documentation and communicates necessary information for services inside and outside the agency.
