Job summary

Responsibilities include rounds, incident reporting, crisis intervention, medication assistance, and staff training attendance, with daily duties in patient supervision and safety across facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Attend monthly departmental sessions and in‑services.
• 4 hours of CEU training annually in Trauma Informed Care, De‑escalation, Motivational Interviewing, and Suicide Awareness.
• A valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and therapeutic support to assigned patients, including rounds at residential sites to ensure security and program schedules.
• Report incidents and emergencies immediately to supervisor and nurse on duty.
• Intervene and de‑escalate situations when necessary.
• Monitor and facilitate client phone calls.
• Document patient care or behavioral issues in the clinical care team logs.
• Maintain facility security and ensure no contraband is brought by visitors or patients.
• Assist clients with self‑administered medication and related instructions.
