Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Psychology or Human Services, with a Master’s in a Behavioral Science field preferred, and MT licensure or eligibility as an Addiction Counselor. CPR/First Aid is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Human Services required.
• Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or other Behavioral Science preferred.
• Must be licensed Addiction Counselor in Montana or eligible for licensing.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides assessments for inpatients and assigned outpatients.
• Applies placement criteria to assure appropriate referrals within the continuum of care.
• Assists in telephone services to public and patients and documents calls.
• Provides educational presentations to patients and the public.
• Coordinates admissions with other departments to assure flow of services.
• Attends staffing presentations for treatment planning.
• Maintains records per CARF, state and Rimrock policies.
• Attends in-service and departmental meetings.
• Facilitates a Family Week group as assigned by supervisor.
