Job summary

Universal Health Services seeks a Community Liaison in Michigan to serve as the liaison between the facility, the community and referring agencies. You will implement a strategic sales plan, manage territory and accounts, and work with the Director of Business Development to advance the facility’s brand and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field.
• Three years minimum documented experience in referral development, account management, sales growth, and physician relationships preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Must possess a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Effectively demonstrate and implement Sales Excellence and Service Recovery standards.
• Acts as liaison between the facility and referral sources and implements service-oriented action plans responsive to referral source needs.
• Attends and participates in Outpatient team meetings and provides marketing reports and opportunities to the Director of Outpatient Services.
• Maintains documentation of top accounts, contacts, planning reports and client profiles.
• Builds and maintains relationships with referral sources and identifies additional sources.
• Maximizes field time with 8-10 in-person contacts daily with referral sources.
• Develops and communicates sales messaging for each program and audience.
• Develops strategic sales plans for target markets and incorporates market research findings.
• Assesses and implements sales activities to penetrate markets and identify potential accounts.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends and informs Outpatient Services planning.
• Facilitates communication among facility, referral sources, patients, families and community.
• Completes expense reports, sales call plans and post-call follow-ups.
• As needed, participate in off-hours sales and community activities.
• Maintains knowledge of programs, admissions criteria, and transportation services.
