Job summary

The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health seeks a Community Liaison to join our Upstate SC team. The role bridges the facility, community, and referring agencies, applying ethical marketing and sales to generate demand for services.

You will work with the Director of Business Development to implement strategic plans, manage your territory and accounts, and travel as needed to build relationships with referral sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field required; experience may be substituted.
• Three years minimum documented experience in referral development, account management, sales growth, and physician relationships preferred.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.
• Knowledge of Upstate SC behavioral health marketplace, insurance plans, target markets and referral sources preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; willingness to travel, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between the facility, the community, and referring agencies.
• Develop and implement the facility’s strategic sales plan and business development goals.
• Represent the facility publicly and maintain its brand/image within the community.
• Travel to visit referral sources and accounts as required.
